So, now more than ever, when I'm tanking and doing a large pull, I run through and drop an AoE on each pack (making sure it actually hits everything before I continue) and more often than not, the DPS go ham on the mobs mid pull and draw aggro.
Normally I just let them keep aggro until I get to the end of the pull and then wait for them to bring the mob to me. What do other tanks do? I don't want to run back and grab escaped mobs mid pull because then I'll take a ton more damage. Same deal if I stop and drop extra AoEs on each pack before continuing.
I really just wish DPS players would wait until the end of the pull to go ballistic on mobs, but I realize that's probably asking too much. Do other tanks ever have this issue?
