What are your last minute, unlikely desires for Evercold?

I say last minute as I feel that Evercold is likely set in stone and what we've seen is what we get. Here are some of mine:

Not every job needs to be movement based

As we've seen with BLM's Dawntrail changes, jobs are given more tools for movement to handle quickening mechanics. I would have preferred if they leaned on BLM's ability to remain stationary, such as an extra charge of manaward instead of triplecast. With the introduction of PLD's counter in Evercold, I would like to see more jobs utilize something like this as a defensive option. Maybe DRG's pvp jump they're adding could scale it's damage reduction to the timing of the attack rather than being a blanket reduction. I feel like this can help certain jobs feel more diverse, offer a high-risk/high reward option, as well as work for players who may have certain physical handicaps when trying to ABC during movement-heavy mechanics.

More objective-based battles

Damage is generally the forefront because 99% of battle content requires us to kill things. The puzzle mechanics in Bardam's Mettle was a refreshing change. Maybe we can have a fight where we're defending a wall for a set amount of time and we utilize cannons to blow away groups of mobs. Dawntrails's dungeons would have felt more on theme if they actually felt like trials instead of killing random mobs. Imagine if one dungeon felt like a smaller variant dungeon but was hunt themed. I would also love it if 24 mans were more like Castrum Lacus Litore where each group can have a different path/responsibility to reduce monotony on replays.

Moving beyond build/spend for job gameplay

While I'm curious to play PLD's evolved mode, I would have liked to see their gameplay revolve around managing their shield. Replace the new oath gauge (or whatever it's called now) to shield health and have their abilities revolve around bolstering said shield health and decide which mechanics to block or eat. Personally, I would prefer if tanks didn't have self healing but instead focus on doing their best to prevent their HP from going down further by blocking/evading. Instead of warrior's crazy healing, what if instead it was a shout that provided a shield that decayed over time (think Junker Queen's shout from Overwatch)

Instead of 3 aetherflow stacks for SCH, what if they were 3 fairies instead that can be placed and recalled, with one type of fairy that provided a regen in it's small aoe circle while the other being a dot (similar to NIN's earth jutsu). The scholar could stack the fairies for more damage or heals based on what's needed, directing players to safe spots and actually control the field. Replace the fairy gauge with shield health so the scholar isn't just throwing shields but has to actively place and recall that too (think Invis woman in Marvel Rivals)

There are more things I'd like to see in the game, like mount racing, but would love to hear what you would want
