Seriously, I used to play Scholar and it was gutted in Shadowbringers. I learned Red Mage but it's DPS is constantly held back because "it has a rez". So I then learned Black Mage in Endwalker and it was gutted in Dawntrail. Now here I am, freshly lvl 100 Viper and having a lot of fun. Suddenly there is an announcement about a class that basically plays itself being "too hard" and "too busy." I won't pick another job to play if everything I pick up and find fun gets transformed into Summoner. Seriously, what's the point of learning another job, it'll just become another boring homogenized mess.
