Ultima LS Dynamis Rules
Attendance
This is a Dynamis “static†so if you intend to come and lot you are expected to attend any run which happens while you are online. Dynamis will be scheduled for every Wednesday and Sunday at 8 PM EST. If people show trends of picking and choosing which runs to attend (even though they are online) they will be asked not to come. People who have busy schedules in real life and can not come frequently but would still like to come are still welcome to come.
For members with alternate characters: Attendance applies to the person and not the character. Therefore if Abbylu has 90% attendance then Ming does as well since they are played by the same person. You should make leaders aware if you plan to play more than one character with us.
Note: For Xarc Clears all members are expected pay an entry fee which covers the cost of zerg items.
Update: As of December 2008 we will be using an attendance system. Each run that you attend will award you "Attendance Points". These points are NOT TO BE SPENT, they are only a record of your attendance. Your points for the last 8 runs will be divided by the possible points for the past 8 runs to create a percentage. If you have at least 60% of the possible points you will be allowed to lot AF in the "Attendance" Tier.
1 point runs: Xarc, Glacier, All CoP runs
2 point runs: Sandy, Windy, Jeuno, Bastok
Additionally, there will be 2 different ways to receive BONUS points. First, by attending a clear of a northland run. This will award you 1 point for the run and 1 point for the sucessful clear but the total points number will only increase by 1. Secondly, a new comment option will be avalible. If you comment points you will be awarded a bonus point for the run. This option is for people who need nothing from the run and are coming simply to help or for people who know they will be out of town or otherwise inable to come for some time. Thus if you come to Sandy and comment points and stay for the run to help without lotting anything you will receive 3 points. In both these cases the total possible points will remain as listed above.
Partial Attendance: In the event that a member misses more than an hour of the run, they will recieve 1/2 of the possible points for that run. I.E. 1 for a Sandy run or .5 for a Xarc run. Bonus points for northland clears will be given in full even if the member misses more than an hour of the run provided that the member is present for the defeat of the boss.
Lotting
At each run everyone has the option to lot either Money or AF or Points. A lot comment indicating your choice is required.
Alternate characters:
You may bring and lot on two characters provided that you follow these rules:
- You must still only have a total of two jobs commented.
- You may still only win 1 drop.
- You may not lot points or money if you choose to bring two characters.
AF Lotting
If you choose to lot from the AF category you are allowed to choose two jobs to lot. These two jobs should be specified in your comment. When a piece of AF drops only people with it commented and who have the job leveled high enough to wear it and who have 60% or more of the possible points in the last 8 runs will be allowed to lot initially. If no one chooses to lot initially then the option will be given for people to lot it in tiers as follows:
Attendance> Wearable> 70+> 60+> 50+> 40+> 1+> Free Lot.
When the piece of AF reaches the 60+ tier, people who do not have the job of the AF in their comment are allowed to lot. If someone who has AF commented wins a piece of AF which is not Free Lot they will not be able to win another piece of AF during that run. If someone who has Money commented wins a piece of AF which is not Free Lot they will not be able to lot synth materials for the rest of the run and they will not receive a share of currency from the sponsor. If a piece of AF reaches Free Lot everyone is allowed to cast lots on it with no impact on their lotting rights.
For Xarc Clear runs, you may choose to lot Shadow Ring or Shadow Mantle as if they were each a piece of AF. For example, a lot comment could consist of BLM, Shadow Ring. Or PLD, Shadow Mantle. Or Shadow Mantle, Shadow Ring. Please note that the ring and the mantle are to be lotted seperately. It is not appropriate to comment MNK, Shadow Drops.
NOTE: Amitlu members attempting to bribe or guilt other Amitlu members to pass is not acceptable. This refers to serious attempts to get another member to pass not friendly banter.
Money Lotting
If you choose to lot from the Money catergory you are allowed to lot synth materials that drop. Wootz ores will be lotted by the sponsor and split between money lotters equally as gil after they are sold. The sponsor will be lotting ALL currency throughout the run including 100s. At the end of the run the sponsor will keep 300 currency and the currency above 300 will be split between the people with Money commented. If someone who is lotting Money wins a piece of AF before it reaches Free Lot they will not be given any money from currency after the run and must stop lotting synth materials after they receive their AF.
In the event that a member misses more than an hour of the run, they will recieve only half of what other money lotters recieve.
Point Lotting
If you choose to you may comment POINTS at any run. Choosing this comment will grant you an addition point for the run. This bonus point will be attatched to the run where it was recieved and therefore it will last for 8 runs after the run where it was won. Reasons for lotting points may include new or returning member trying to build up attendance, member who will be going out of town, member who has nothing to win from the run we are doing. Point lotters are not allowed to lot synth materials or currency. They are only allowed to lot AF in the event that it goes to the 60+ catergory. Choosing to lot at the 60+ catergory forfeits your previous comment ( meaning you will not get an extra point if you win a piece of AF before free lot.)
Invitees
If you have a close friend in game who would like to attend you are allowed to invite them to come provided that you believe them to be a reliable player who will follow the rules as set out here. Please notify Heie, Yelsaewnor, Megatron, Eticket or Kulgan if you have a friend who you would like to bring. It is your responsiblity to talk with your friend about the rules. If attendance reaches the point that extra members would not benefit the shell then new invitees will not be accepted. If an Amitlu member disagrees with another member’s choice of an invitee after seeing their performance in Dynamis they should notify the leaders so that it can be dealt with.
Sponsors
Our current sponsors are Heie (Katana) and Megatron (Katana). They will lot all currency at the runs that they sponsor and keep 300 of it. The tentative sponsor schedule is Megatron- Jeuno and Windy, Heie- Bastok and Sandy. Sponsors are, of course, encouraged to talk to each other and alter this sponsor schedule as needed.
