NPC name: Thancred (Trust NPC)
Monster name: Spectral White Mage
Class/Level: n/a
Party or solo: Trust Party

Area and coordinates: instanced Trust Dungeon duty "The Heroes' Gauntlet"
Housing: n/a
Steps:
1. ensure that your player character is not a Tank-role Job
2. ensure that the Trust NPC "Thancred" is in your Trust Party
3. ensure that you are currently using a Player Character Job that cannot interrupt enemy actions
4. enter the instanced Trust Dungeon duty "The Heroes' Gauntlet" with Trust NPC "Thancred" and any two other compatible NPC companions by using the Trust System
5. proceed to any of the enemy encounters within the dungeon that contain a "Spectral White Mage"
6. Wait for the "Spectral White Mage" to begin casting the interruptable spell "Absolute Protect"
7. Thancred will not interrupt the action, causing all enemies present to receive a significant reduction in damage taken for 60 seconds, which will then be re-applied by the Spectral White Mage on expiration, significantly prolonging the amount of time spent defeating these enemies.
8. Consider that in a normal party (entered with other players via the Duty Finder), the party will always be able to interrupt this action, because all "Tank"-role Player Jobs automatically have the Role Action "Interject". Because it is impossible to form a party to complete "The Heroes' Gauntlet" without one Tank player present, it is therefore impossible to be unable to interrupt this action in a normal party. Therefore, the enemy spell "Absolute Protect" is balanced in a way that expects the party to always interrupt it.
9. Consider also that in a Trust party, five of six possible Trust NPCs are Classes or Jobs that cannot interrupt (Astrologian, Scholar, Red Mage, Black Mage, Rogue). Therefore, in any Trust party, just like a normal party composed of these classes/jobs, it would be expected for the Tank Job to use the Tank Role Action "Interject" to interrupt the interruptable action "Absolute Protect".
10. For all of the above reasons, I therefore think that it is either an outright bug in NPC scripting, or an unintentional design oversight, that the Trust NPC Thancred, who is a Gunbreaker Tank, does not use the Tank Role Action "Interject" to interrupt the interruptable Spectral White Mage spell "Absolute Protect", forcing a player using Trusts to deal with a tedious damage reduction on all engaged enemies that is constantly reapplied throughout the combat duration.
