Trust Npcs Do Not Heal Certain Damage That Occurs In "the Heroes' Gauntlet"

Date & Time: any time, but since this category apparently requires a specific date to not get my report rejected outright, one example of this issue occurred @ 15:32 USA Pacific Daylight Savings Time, October 4th, in the year 2020 of the Common Era / Anno Domini

Frequency: every single time / 100% frequency

World name: Gilgamesh but this will occur on any world

Character name: Jophia Krownlege but this will occur with any character

Retainer name: This does not involve my retainers

NPC name: Urianger and Alphinaud

Monster name: Spectral Berserker

Class/Level: Player: any class, level 80, if you require a specific entry to not reject this bug report, it has occurred while I am playing the following jobs: DRG MNK NIN SAM BRD MCH DNC BLM SMN RDM; Trust NPCs: Scholar/"Academician" and Astrologian

Party or solo: Trust Party

In-game time: this has occurred many times, but if you require a specific time to not reject this bug report, it also occured at approximately 8:00 AM Eorzean Time (also this is not related to the bug in any way, shape, or form, but there, I filled in this slot)

Area and coordinates: "The Heroes' Gauntlet", in the "Lakeland" subzone, in the "Illuminated Plaza" point-of-interest, at coordinates X: 15, Y: 11

Housing: This is not related to housing

Steps:

1. Be a level 80 player character at an exact average item level of 460 by having every single one of your character equipment slots filled with item level 460 "Augmented Facet" equipment.
2. Note that the above item level stipulation is important, because 460 is the minimum item level to be able to enter "The Heroes' Gauntlet", and this issue will not be as significant at a higher item level, since the severity of its impact depends on how much HP and Defense/Magic Defense the player character has.
3. Enter "The Heroes' Gauntlet" with a Trust Party, using a Tank or DPS player class, and taking either Urianger or Alphinaud in the Healer slot of the Trust Party.
4. Proceed to the final boss encounter of the instance, "Spectral Berserker".
5. During the course of the encounter, cause the player character or your Trust NPC party members to take avoidable damage in either of the following ways:
   • Overlap the red danger circles for the "Falling Rock" attack, such that at least one party member receives 2 or more instances of "Falling Rock" damage.
   • Be hit by and survive the Spectral Berserker's "Wild Rampage" attack.
6. Neither Alphinaud nor Urianger will heal the player character or other Trust NPC party members in response to these damage instances.
7. Specifically in the case of "Falling Rock", the following situation will play out:
   1. At least one party takes multiple instances of "Falling Rock" damage.
   2. At item level 460, this causes the party member in question to now have HP that is JUST LOW ENOUGH to be instantly killed by the ensuing "Wild Anguish" attack from the Spectral Berserker, EVEN IF the party member in question is stacked with the appropriate Rubble object, AND has ZERO Vulnerability Up stacks.
   3. Neither Alpinaud nor Urianger will respond by healing the party member in question; instead, either Trust NPC Healer will simply stand still and do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the entire duration of the "Wild Anguish" mechanic (approximately 15 seconds of the boss jumping around the room), despite the fact that there is literally (actually, semantically-correct "literally") no combat-based reason for the Healer NPC to not be able to cast Spells or take other actions during this time.
   4. Therefore, despite a living Healer NPC standing approximately 10 yalms away with full MP and no other actions occupying its time, a player OR Trust NPC party member at item level 460 will instantly die by a margin of approximately 10,000-20,000 HP to the unavoidable "Wild Anguish" attack that hits them, which would have been completely trivial for either Alphinaud or Urianger to resolve within those ~15 seconds by casting one single healing action.
