Recently, me and my D2 guild made the agreement to start transitioning over to FF14 due to the recent issues that seem to be plaguing Destiny 2. We are a guild that have done Day 1 Raid completions and other notable feats including top % of PvP players in the world.
This has been our go-to game for the last three years and we are a really tight knit group. During the dilemma that has been ongoing in Destiny 2, me and another guildmate mentioned the idea of starting out on FF14. Being an ex-WoW veteran who got burnt out due to the toxicity among other things (the story they had completely ruined) I was genuinely a smidge skeptical.
The amount of kindness I have received in the last two weeks has been unparalleled. I had someone trade me a pet saying good luck, we did the ifrit encounter where an individual let us know exactly what would transpire, and kind words wishing us luck on our MSQ grind.
Just a personal heartfelt thank you from a random dude on the internet who has been so blown away by this communities kindness and welcoming attitude. Destiny is and can be extremely toxic, so this has been incredibly refreshing.
