Even in the past I have 0 interest in the Windy storyline. The Sandy and Bastok ones are looking solid though.

Nowai! You did NOT just diss Ajido Marujido as "0 interest" did you?! And what about the masked taru on the chocobo?!?! I'm sorry, nothing says, "Whoa!" like a Taru with a black mask blasting the shit outta stuff with magic and riding off into the sunset. It's like he's Zoro or something, but with a staff instead of a sword.

I was never intrigued by the Windy storyline originally, so any tie-ins between past and present really don't do anything for me.

The main Sandy storyline re: the throne and princes was never much of a selling point, however the underlying story about Sandy/Tavnazia was pretty epic. The fact that it tied in directly to CoP and several little CoP quests made it that much better. Though, I'm disappointed as Tavnazia doesn't appear to be playing a part in WotG. I would love to see the real Tavnazia as opposed to the Archipelago.

The internal struggles of the Bastok storyline have always been a draw as well. Rolling with Zeid and Volker during the events that ultimately led them down the paths they chose is a great opportunity, especially considering their direct roles in the original Shadowlord fight.
 
The Windy story is *amazingly* good! The only thing that's beat it is the CoP storyline, and that just barely (CoP missions are more fun though). And from what I've read, people who have done all 3 generally rate the Windy storyline higher.

And Volker was a sniveling pussy. "My grandpa... wah wah wah." I don't think I've spoiled anything. For those who haven't done Basty storyline, do the missions and you'll know what I'm talking about.
