I took a few minutes to search the forum to see if anybody had suggested precisely what I'm about to, and it seems as though there is only an argument to repurpose this currently useless item into having a flat percentage base reduction to plant growth.
While that is a suggestion that is kind of neat, I would like to propose a different use for the topsoil: Increasing the chance of getting seeds from whatever plant it is applied to. This would be great for all those pain in the butt crossbreeds that aren't affected by G3 Shroud Topsoil, i.e., Broombush, Thav Onions, Glazenuts, etc.
I also saw somewhere the idea floated of creating a Coerthas Topsoil to reduce planting time versus repurposing LaNos for that, and that seemed like a neat idea to me. I was also thinking it could be used to increase the effectiveness of fertilizer based on grade instead.
