Status of BG

According to some people in Flash Chat, the forum is still locked for normal users, I just received an email in my inbox saying I was added to some special usergroup lol, I guess I still have access.

I found this thread in the main FFXI forum.

Not sure what that means really, but it kinda doesn't look like forum access is getting restored for normal users in the near future. There are definitely people viewing the main FFXI forum who are not part of this special group. I guess there could be different levels of groups, all I can see right now is the one I've been added to.

Lol I think we all would like to be invited, so it is up to BG and the possible limitations about invitations there can be or whatever. I found that site to be awesome every since I heard about it a while back.

its due to the flooding that update-day causes their servers, that they had to do this... should be appreciative of what they have offered the FF public for the last, what... 2-3years??
