So throughout the Pandaemonium Series, we're told that Azem apparently sent Themis to Elpis and has apparently been manipulating events. Somehow, Azem knew his future sundered self would arrive in Elpis and would manage to fix things without further assistance. This leads us to one conclusion.
Azem can see the future, and so can the WoL.
Now, the first point isn't too far of a leap, but the second point is what I want to focus on.
There are a lot of aspects of our characters that we've taken for granted as part of the "video game" aspect of FF14. Every so often we have a nice laugh about how our character is uncannily able to locate every point of interest when needed, and at some points story characters have even commented on this apparent ability of the WoL.
But what if it isn't just a game mechanic? What if the Warrior of Light has minor precognitive abilities, weaker than Azem's but still present. What if aoe indicators aren't just a video mechanic, but our characters predicting the impact zone of an attack before it occurs? What if the real source of the Warrior of Light's strength isn't their mana density, their martial prowess, or Hydaelyn's blessing? What if it's something else entirely?
