So after trying (and failing) to summon a fourth Egi in the Heavensward era summoning quests, we find out that Summoners have a limit of how many they can potentially bind to. Certain techniques can bypass this limit, but ultimately, you can only truly summon three "Egis" as a summoner, taken up by your first three primal fights.
That made me wonder the other day - if you joined the Summoner Job after beating other primals, technically you would have had the chance to use them as your Egi. The job story path is set in game, but hypothetically you could have instead gotten Leviathan-Egi or Moggle Mog Egi or any number of other primals.
If the game gave you that choice as a summoner, which three Primals would you want to have Egis of? Assume that you can assign them comparable powers to the existing three Egi options and that this is purely a choice based on aethetics or personal connection.
I'm still in early Stormblood so I'm sure I'll run into more that I'd want to use, but as of this moment, I'd probably pick Susano, Zurvan, and Shiva. The first two have brilliant designs, and the third is for personal reasons, as tribute to the Shiva we knew.
