I was late to realize that my game completion wasn't as full as I thought and this sky tool quest got thrown at me. I have to make 20 of something for first step and 30 of the next. I made the first 20 easily but the next 30 I couldn't even get close. All my classes are 80 so I just went with alchemist to start. Anyways, someone at the guild house inspected me and noticed I'm in mostly handking gear. It's 70 yellow scrip gear and afaik at 70 it would be the tip top gear but at 80 not good.
I have a few pieces of the white scrip gear which I thought would also be best but I don't have it all bought yet.
They pointed out I can buy better gear and I saw I could buy some 80 stuff that seems even better then the blue gear but it's green. Weird.
So now I have almost all of that and it's tough to craft the 30 items but now they are wondering why no materia. I always marketplaced my materia away for cash
I never used a piece of materia in 7 years because afaik and was told 99.9 percent of content doesn't use materia anyway and it's only for savage raiders.
Apparently for crafters this is less true though I guess.
This is a lot of work to clear a quest in my log annoying me
