Hi all, I’m a very new player. WHM. Currently free trial but will upgrade when needed.
Just a question about soloing, apologies if it’s long winded. I come from a WoW background and dungeons there are not main story requirements in the same way they are in the MSQ here…
I’m just wondering about MMO content. Can you essentially play through this game solo?
I’ve been trawling to see if I can find an answer to my question in previous posts and from 5y ago there was a general consensus that group playing was integral and unavoidable. Is the NPC partnering option new? So far I’ve got to lvl 40ish (just done the dragons in the desert) by NPCing dungeons.
I know it’s not really in the spirit of things and I’m sure it’ll change as I meet people but I used to have a lot more free time when playing WoW and was in a very close knit guild but I’m not able to dedicate the time to FF currently- so I’m just plodding along, finding my way through the quests and story. I’m not racing to a deadline… I’m finding that if I meet someone in game, the next time I log in they are understandably far ahead of me in lvl and story… etc.
So yeah - my question is; can I solo the whole thing? Or is there a point when that just isn’t an option?
Answer like I’m a complete noob because I am.
