Wasn't the whole point or should i say inscentive to come to SOAP was the AF2 while helping the same person for months get enough money together for relic?
I've been helping with SOAP since the start and till it somewhat died and i still help now. Just don't see how is fair i guess...

Uhh... This is completely wrong, I know for sure sponsors can lot 100s there because I've been on a run with Predaking where he's done it, and Garret has said multiple times that sponsors can still lot 100s.

My understanding of SOAP is that it's for OUR linkshell, Ultima to come out with money for relics and outfit our people with AF2.
My understanding is that ALL currency goes to the sponser, crafting materials are free lot & AF goes to the person that can most use it.
In the case of the THF AF2 on this run, Arch was the only one in Ultima that really needed/could use it. Seems to me things are working fine and are fair.

To be totally correct, Cujo was there and also lotted THF. (Edit: and Valgavv)
Also, crafting materials aren't really free lot. There are some people (Predaking is a good example) that don't need any AF2 from any Dynamis. Because that certain class of people exists, we made it so you have to declare Synthesis Materials, and those people lotting AF2 can't win them if 1 or more people have synth materials declared.

OUR linkshell ( Ultima ) has rules, does it not? Even if our goal is to have Ultima members come out with relic/AF2/money, does that give us the right to use outside people that still help ( And sometimes more often ) with dynamis runs?
The lotting system doesn't have "person who can most use it". It's a person who can wear it can lot it, in conjuction with DX point system.
I don't see how you get to decide who needs what when there wasn't just one Ultima member there that "Needed/could use it". What about Valgavv or Cujo? They don't have "Need/Wants"?
Yes, of course we have rules. There was nothing in those rules preventing sponsors from lotting.
As to using outside help, it's up to them to come if they want or not. They still get AF when we don't need it.
I can't speak for Val or Cujo, but I imagine they do want AF as well. If they were at Dynamis last night, I'm sure they could have objected then. If they didn't, and haven't said anything so far, maybe they don't object. Or perhaps they have taken a less public and less aggressive tack in dealing with their objections.
