Hi I'm new, been playing for a year and boy this game has been a rollercoaster. I've been a scholar main since I got the game really, getting into it early ARRB, and I loved it, it was so different from WHM and I found it refreshing, even going back to it after i unlocked AST, the healer job I was most excited for. Up until Shadowbringers you couldn't tell me shit to make me play another job but once I started healing actual players in the dungeons I dont know if the games skill ceiling just went through the roof or what, but I noticed that healing was actually becoming a little stressful, hard even. My tanks couldn't do big pulls because I'd struggle to keep them alive, and it got to the point where I got so mad I dropped the job entirely and toke up AST. I noticed very quickly that while there was still some challenge it wasn't as stressful as before. I began to look around I started to see a lot of people complaining as well but I also noticed that apparently in the past SCH was one of if not the best healer to go to and many felt as though it was brought back down to earth with the others.
I want opinions from veteran SCH players on how they feel about current SCH having played it before ShB, and I'd also like to hear opinions from newer SCH players as well. P.S. For those who do care, I'm going back despite the difficulty, I'm too in love to stay away lol
