Well, 99% complete. I put the chain on the handle this morning but I need to cut out the lion head out and attach it to the other end. For all intents and purposes, though, it's complete.

Was a fun build, and I'll probably go out and swing it around a bit after the clear coat cures all the way. 4 ft long; weighs in at 3 lbs; made of poplar wood, glue and spray paint; lion deco on the blade cut from vinyl with my Silhouette. The only metal parts are the two screw rings and the chain. This was an initial build and I will be making another in a couple of weeks with some modifications, mostly the trigger, some sanding and shaping but, most importantly, some slots around the "cylinder" to give it a bit more of a detached look.
