Someone misses a run and they're cherry picking?
I'll probably go to the glacier run tonight... oh shit... I didn't go to Bastok or Sandy. Damn. Well I guess it's over before it starts.
You can't judge what people are doing after 2 runs. Sometimes people have other shit they need to get done in game, or they just don't feel like doing a 3 hour dynamis run. That doesn't mean they're trying to ninja shit out from under everyone.
Give it a month or two before you start going postal on someone. If you think someone is taking advantage of the shell then talk to them about it or approach one of the sacks or heie/yels.

Well as I said, I didn't see any cherry-picking myself, but my point was more of a generalization. If we don't approach members as they are seen to be cherry-picking, we're setting a dangerous precedent regardless of who it is. It doesn't fly in Ultima so why should it be OK in Dynamis?

I agree with Et. I missed the first run due to RL and will, most likely miss others in coming weeks due to work and the joys of new homeownership. It has little to nothing to do with gear or the zones (though </3 Windy) and everything to do with simple timing.
Give it time, observe, and correct--there's a fine line between rules and oppression.
The run I did attend (Sandy), everyone did an awesome job and it was a blast. More of that to come, I'm sure.

Didn't have time to read through everyones new post and I have to go to bed soon. But I wanted to say about the "cherry picking" I was not concerned with the people who weren't online. I was concerned with the people that were at the bastock run and were online leveling or doing other random things and did not come to the sandy run. Everyone is gonna miss a run sooner or later. But when you are xping or farming during some dynamises but come to others it does draw a concern about cherry picking.
Hmm I came to Glacier because i like hanging out with LS. I don't need any AF except lolSurcoat. I want to come to runs when i can and feel like it.. From what I am reading here.. I just won't ever lot AF. Otherwise my choice would be to never attend because if I lotted AF I would be cherry picking. It makes little difference to me. I just do not want to be booted from LS for coming to Dynamis hit and miss. Can we just sign up for "Casual Dynamis Attendee Status" ie: I come for fun and if I lot AF shoot me 
There will be times when people won't be up for a 3 hour event, Rl'ed or have another interest on the day. Sorry to use this term but we can't be "Nazi" about attendance. Attending Dynamis isn't mandatory.
IMO if heie/yels feels someone doesn't deserve the AF then they should ask the person to pass. Please pass and if you have a issue with it take it up with the sac/s. heie/yels should also take into consideration on how people also help others with other LS events we do.
We all need to remember that everyone tries to help each other out. Dynamis isn't the only thing as a LS we do. Limbus, Fafnir, Sky & Sea just to name a few.

Just want to clarify some things. First off I didn't say anyone was cherry picking. As def said it would be hard to tell who is cherry picking and who isn't if it is even happening in the first week. I said I just saw some signs of it and it concerned me. It would be a 2 months from now to confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt if someone was cherry picking or not.
Things are going rather well imo so far. Just want to make sure things continue to go this way. Even though we got completely screwed on drops last night we did very well imo. We were probably 20 minutes away from full clearing the zone not counting hydras. If the one dynamis statue didn't sleepga everyone we might have been farming hyrdas for a hot minute.
Just want to say that everyone has been doing a fantastic job. Keep it up guys.
