Finally got to do the Starlight event for the first time a few days ago, and am really happy with it!
A wonderfully charming story, though I admit I was seriously considering punting that Lalafell into the next zone on first meeting...WOW, was he a pain, at first...glad to see him come around.
The rewards were nice, though I'm curious as to the reasoning behind getting the items that pop up the numbers 5 to 0...possibly for a New Year's thing??
Ah, but the free snowman mount...THIS was the big one for me, bringing my mount total to 6, and it's so much FUN to fly about in; the music is very pretty, and is it just me, or can this mount fly REALLY fast? I need to find some people on Marlboro and get some funny group shots!
Sorry if I sound a little childish...I'm just a sucker for the holidays, this time of year, and given that this is my 1st such season in FF XIV, I'm just glad to've been able to experience it!
