We're at Patch 7.55, and the Dawntrail expansion is suffering from the same creeping power issues of Endwalker and other expansions. With the advent of the Final Phantom Relic steps, many players' Damage stats have instantly gone up another 2-3 points.
8-Man Raids and Alliance Raids do not practice the same Item Level Sync standards of dungeons. Raids are uncapped up to the Expansion's Highest iLevel.
Since 7.55's implementation, Level 100 Raids like AAC Light-heavyweight M2 can now be beaten within 4 minutes- echoing the same impotence plaguing Endwalker's Level 90 Raids, like Asphodelos: the First Circle.
Jeuno: the First Walk can now be completed in under 20 minutes, with the Shadow Lord only reaching his armored phase when he has 1/4th of his health remaining. San d'Oria: the Second Walk's Kirin Fight can now regularly be trounced before he can call forth his gigantic arm phase. This is reminiscent of Aglaia, with players defeating Nald'Thal before his Balance Limit Break can be seen.
I implore Creative Studio III impose proper Item Level Sync caps on Raids, like they do with dungeons. Like they did with the Final Day and the Interphos. I would also appreciated if they applied the same restrictions to story trials "the Royal Menagerie" and "the Dying Gasp," the end trials of Stormblood and Shadowbringers.
