It's despicable that we've been having these kinds of issues for so many nights but just wanted to throw out a workaround, if you're able to install a vpn (free trials ftw) it does seem to fix the problem. It's obviously not a real solution but its better than nothing
edit for those saying its not just spectrum: its a specific known problem. if your connection doesn't follow the node(s), you won't have the issue. if your isp uses spectrum's infrastructure to use the nodes, you will have the issue. I'm no expert on it but that seems to be what's happening
