Post Mortem's Progress and Quality Efficiency Calculator
I want to finally present my Crafting Efficiency Calculator to reddit, for FFXIV theorycrafters to enjoy before Patch 5.3. That's Right! You can test results for 4* Recipes already! Please keep in mind that this is not a fully functioning simulator, but calculates a single step output given a set of conditions. All data used in this has been validated by reliable sources and collected from extensive in game research. Before I go over the steps to using this tool, I want to give a big thanks to Ay’yaruq Dotharl (acchan), who mentored me into understanding how the crafting formulae work, as well as providing tutelage for understanding other in-game mechanics. Below I will provide the link to her document explaining in full detail the Crafting Formulae!
Below I will give a basic guide on how to use this tool.
Step 1 Getting Started:
Make a Copy of the original spreadsheet to create an editable form for yourself.
Step 2 The Basics:
Select a Recipe Level that you would like to run calculations on.
Input your Crafter Stats in the \"Dark Blue Boxes\" Level / Craftsmanship / Control
Select any Consumables/Medicine if you desire, to be added to your crafter stats. (These Stats are added in the \"Light Blue Boxes\"). Note that only Craftsmanship / Control Stats are calculated in this tool.
Step 3 The Results:
By setting these inputs listed below:Recipe Level: Lv. 80★★★Crafter Craftsmanship: 2507 (+66)Crafter Control: 2565 +(189)Consumable Meal: Popatoes au Gratin(HQ) +66 CMSConsumable Medicine: Commanding Craftsman's Syrup (HQ) +189 CTRL
You'll end up with these basic results...

I could go into great detail on how the Crafting Formulae work, and why I implemented the formulae in my tool the way I did.
