I quit before the last major SB patch that was released this year. Now im back and my game audio doesnt work. I play other games like League and BDO and I can hear them fine. I can watch youtube and listen to spotify etc. But everytime i open ffxiv, its completely mute.
i havent changed anything in m PC ... i am completely stumped
Things ive tried:
specs: windows 10 ram 32gb ssd 250gb / hdd 2tb nvidia gtx 1080 8gb intel kaby lake i7 (cant remember exact chip as im not at my pc currently, but it was on the higher end of specs)

i havent changed anything in m PC ... i am completely stumped
Things ive tried:
enable/disable/update in device manager
checked sound mixer, ffxiv is not muted
swapped hardware, different headphones etc
unplug/replug cables, front and back
check ingame settings, not muted
double checked its not a macro bug
swapped between dx11 and dx 9 on launcher
cant update dx drivers because it says i have it already
updated graphics drivers
tried disabling every sound device except strictly my headphones, didnt work
tried lowering playback quality on headset
checked for win updates and checked installed updates
checked processes running
dont have any sound managers like realtek or sonic
