A very weird issue popped up for me today. When i launch the game, interact with it in the usual way (play, login as a character, etc), it works fine for first 10-20 second after launch, but then crashes without any errors.
At first, i thought i had some memory issues, since just before i was trying to play the game, i used the Windows Memory Diagnostics to see if i had a memory related hardware issue (was doing it due to unrelated to FFXIV issues with the PC blackscreening), but the scan returned that everything is fine.
After fiddling with the game for a bit, i noticed that when i leave the game window open for some time, focus to it with Alt + Tab, and press mouse button, it immediately crashes. I then decided to see how the game reacts if i connect my controller to the PC and control the game that way - and it works completely fine, even letting me log in without any issues. But the moment i press any keyboard or mouse button - immediately crashes without any popups, and the only way to see anything about it is in the windows event viewer, where an error log matching the game executable appears.
