Can maybe someone else step up for Xarcabard tomorrow? >.>;; When we were asked about sponsorships, I signed on for 1-2 times a month, since I'm not very good at making money, and I've already sponsored 4 times in July, 2 of which were Beaucedines - the only northland runs we've had thus far, in fact. While I'm not overly concerned with the loss of gil (as there hasn't really been any big losses - I lost approx. 35k on the last Beaucedine and made a 45 single progress, but that's a piddly amount), it seems kinda unfair that none of the other sponsors want to step up to the plate when 3/4 of my sponsorships have failed to meet the 300 currency limit. I get that nobody wants to sponsor northlands, but someone has to, and unfortunately I don't have the means to keep doing it every time. :(
 
I was planning on sponsoring the xarc run unless someone else wanted to. Was going to ask if anyone wanted to.
 
Also, what's the lotting rules on shadow items? Since they're All jobs, per current rules, All jobs would be able to lot, but I'm not sure it would be a crowd-pleaser if a mage-onry won one of them. >.>

Also, are you able to lot both AF2 and Shadow items? AF2 and one shadow item? Lot both, but only win one? Etc?

Don't think we will be killing DL within the next month or two. Was planning on having it that anyone can lot Shadow items. But if you win AF before we kill DL you can't lot shadow items and if you win a shadow item you can't lot AF to try and keep it fair for everyone.
 
Have we considered maybe hanging on to a bit of the extra currency from the cities and giving it to the people sponsoring northlands who are getting comparatively shafted?
 
After one of the runs I asked if everyone would be ok letting Lexa have some extra currency. Lexa refused and gave everyone the normal cut over 300. So far Lexa has been the only one that has gotten boned on currency drops. I have also told Lexa a few times that when she has gotten screwed on drops that she could sell some of it to make her gil back but she said she is fine as long as she is breaking even on market cost.
 
Yes, personally I'm not really concerned with not meeting the 300 currency limit, or small losses here and there (like 50k or less) - as long as I break even on market cost, the way I see it is that I haven't really lost anything at all, I just spent a few extra hours for a shot at AF as well. :)

I really wish I had an easy enough time making money so I could sponsor all the northlands, both for simplicity's sake and because I'm a firm believer that any progress is progress after all, but uh... I's not so good with the money-making. XD
