For the most part, the photoshopping is clearly evident.
 
The Fafnir one is from a reliable source, not sure if the adamantoise and Roc ones have been edited.
 
Faf has hit me that hard, wouldn't be hard to believe if it was a mage or something (or fafnir who had been slept for hours on end)

However, you can see the pixelation without even magnifying the image on the other two... and isnt it kinda odd that every hit does the same exact dmg? Look closely at the end of the damage notification, the background doesnt line up right at all.
 
The pics are real, it's flying around various message boards. Pixellation is no big deal, they probably saved a high quality screen shot using fraps, opened it up to crop the image, and saved it with a lower resolution.
 
The third seems to be cropped pieces of two different SS stuck together.

It looks very much like their attack increases over time until it hits the cap for their STR (which we may hypothesize does not change). An interesting test would be to land Drown on one after it hit this cap.

I have to say this seems really fun^^ I hope all you THF got in your Adaman-soloing time before this patch~

3 of us claimed KA the day of the update with a dagger of all things as the JP linkshells all popped off chainspell, etc. We took him down as quickly as we could with a SMN, RDM and NIN. His attacks were super-innacurate and would hit for 60-70. Level 70 blood pacts would hit him for a respectable 650-900. We were taking him down pretty steadily and it seemed like it was going to be a pretty boring fight. We figured we had it in the bag. That is until we got him to about 1%. At this point I hit him with Predator Claws and it hit for 0. I thought it was weird, but not impossible. That's when I noticed that the RDM and NIN were also hitting him for 0. Then BLAM. It hit the NIN twice for about 450-550 each. The RDM popped a Cure 4 and went down in about 2 seconds. Then it ran through the NIN and me. After we wiped, the JP linkshells voked it at about 0%.... and it killed five fresh players in uber gear before they killed it.
