Newbie Question: Does The Astrologian's "undraw" Spell Serve A Real Function Or Is It Just...

I'm new to FFXIV but not to MMO's (Been healing/tanking since Vanilla WoW) and I honestly can't find a use for it in the rotation or a benefit to discarding the current card, I know that "Redraw" and the "Draw 3" spells are super useful to chain cards together and trigger the Divination spell or switch Minor Arcanas but I really can't find info anywhere on it's potential uses.

Am I missing something...? Or is it a case of "flavor over function" style of spell?
