New video card vs. old one... tech support!

My new card (currently on the way, haven't got it yet) : Chaintech NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6600, 128 bit 256MB DDR SDRAM

My old card (fried from overclocking, rest in piece) : Gainward NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX 5600, 128 bit 256MB RAM (dunno if it's DDR or what)

Just wondering if I'm going to see a reasonable performance improvement with the new card versus the old, or if I'm a fool.

Its the same bit rate and same amount of RAM. Its going to be the same speed. Your new one might be faster then your old one but you will not see anything diff. The change will be so small the human eye will not see it.
