I've been playing FFXIV for years. Mid way through vanilla, roughly. But I've never done any current EX trials or content. But... I really want that dyable Gunbreaker chest! Mind you, I've always WANTED to do current content, its why I keep my gear current. But I'm super anxious about pugging it; my only experience is with WoW and... they're pretty bad.
Is there any sort of etiquette involved with pugging in FFXIV? My gear is a bit over the minimum for the trial. But I also don't have, for instance, voice chat, nor can I get it: I have a notable speech impediment. I imagine I should watch and read a guide, and will. But I don't want to make some sort of stupid mistake that'll get me kicked and black listed or anything like that.
