My Parse 7/27/09

It's more fun that way.

I do love Great Axe WAR....

I lost power 1/2 way through the party.. so there are another 60 or so mobs missing from this parse.

Koton = DNC
Kaze = MNK
Ranpaopao = COR
Cati = WAR
Takue = WHM
Rakia = BLU

(East Ron Birds, went from 45 to 49)

Aang's next challenge after outparsing a DNC and a BLU will be the ultimate challenge: outparse a BST and a PUP in the same party.

Is playing WAR breathing new life into this for you Aang?

Hmmm... Here's my take:

I like to change around the jobs, so that it does not get so mundane. I've been alternating BRD and WAR recently and when I'm not leveling... I'm crafting or doing some other odd task that does not take an army to accomplish.

It's nice to play a DD class, just to beat the shit out of things. I've been actually trying to keep my DD percentage high, just to see what i can do. When I play BRD or RDM, I make it my goal to keep buffs up and pay close attention to what I'm doing to maximize my party's effectiveness. As it is that I party mostly with Japanese only now, they expect the mages to be on their toes... or if you do a shitty job, they'll ignore you later.

The only recent complaint I have is that whenever I go to East Ron as WAR... I'm suddenly the tank and I hate that because I just turn into an MP sponge. So, to counter that, I always have my PL group ready to keep me alive. Granted, my Damage output usually makes me the tank 'cause whoever the real tank was supposed to be, can't hold hate from me.

This is all nothing new really... it's just a different Dynamic for me. You have to know that I started this game with a Mithra WAR and leveled with a SWORD. (bad advice from the people I started with...... did not know any better. :badshape:joff) She was subsequently deleted... when Aa was born.

ANYWAY... so yeah... it's refreshing and Level Sync makes it so much easier to get a party nowadays.

@Benny: I've been in other parties, but didn't think about turning the parser on till it was too late. I figured out that I should have a look when I kept getting hate all-the-damn-time.

@Fodder: Sorry, I had to hit the sack as today was my first real day back at the office.

@Coice: Uh-huh.
