Hello, I recently got a computer to replace my ps4 so that I would be able to play ffxiv on the go since I travel a lot for work. It's been great, and I've been able to play the same as I did on ps4 by just plugging my ps4 controller in via micro-usb. Today I learned how to and configured another steam game (dark souls 3) to work with my controller using the steam controller settings, but when I launched ffxiv my controller no longer rotated the camera or gave any inputs at all?
I can select my controller in the menu on the main screen/settings, gamepad support is enabled and I have tried playing around with the steam controller settings (disabling/enabling the generic/ps4 settings) and it seems like steam recognises my controller well and I get pop-ups for it when I launch the game. I cannot calibrate my controller either.
I'm just wondering if anyone would be able to help me out? I'm not good with computers at all, and I just want to play my game : (
