MSQ Puzzle Mechanics and Solo Instances

I wanted to come here and express my thoughts as I think I speak for a silent majority. I have never posted here but feel compelled to in case the team needs something like this to back them up in a meeting.

Firstly, I very much enjoyed the “puzzle” sections in the middle of the MSQ and I would like more of it. While I enjoy reading, breaking it up with the occasional simple puzzle makes the pacing much better and the content more engaging.

Secondly, “In from the Cold” in Endwalker had a very good solo instance. Not only was it engaging mechanically but it was in ludonarrative harmony with the story. The WOL was meant to be challenged, to experience what it's like for the average person. Likewise us the players were also challenged. This is an excellent example of gameplay working in tandem with the story.

If you wish to only experience the story, having a challenging instance that matches the narrative better immerses you.

If you just want gameplay then any challenging instance is going to be enjoyable.

In conclusion, while obviously doing things like this all the time would become boring. I want it known that many people did in fact enjoy one or both of these things.
