Spoilers for the end of Main Scenario Quest!
The "Living Memory" location in FF14 does not have any landing spots, preventing crafters from enjoying the view. Square Enix has not addressed this issue yet.
I could be one of the gatherers, inconspicuously collecting materials in the area while you go on your adventure in FF14. Or I could sit inconspicuously in a corner and produce something for hours.
When crafting, I prefer quiet, secluded places with a good view, where I can also watch other players or enjoy the view.
There are landing spots everywhere, except in "Living Memory". You can't land on the roofs of houses or attractions. I can't use places with a beautiful view as a craftsman in "Living Memory" because I can't get off my mount there.
It is very clear that the "Living Memory" location is only intended as a one-off experience in the main quest. Unfortunately, this location is later deactivated in the main quest and flying in this location is only possible after completing the main quest.
Square Enix therefore felt that the additional effort to set up landing pads was unnecessary. Unfortunately, this was far too short-sighted, as the needs of the craftsmen were forgotten.
Question to Square Enix: In which upcoming patch will this be made up for?
