So I been working on ranking up my pets, and I started to notice the UI is actually awful to keep track of your pet ranks, so here's what I mean:
The default Bestiary, it straight up does not display rank, in fact the sorting button is even greyed out:
This is the Bestiary as it displays in B2's menu, I want to stress, going back to B2 is very necessary, as your pets will too weak to do M1 right away, but the rank sync causes the pets to be limited to rank 10 which messes up the sorting, here Lamb is shown between Cu Sith and Opo-Opo, when in reality both Cu and Opo are rank 25, but Lamb is clearly not.
Then, if I go into M2's menu, it finally displays properly, and I can see that my Lamb is rank 13, going into specifically a menu without rank sync is the only way for rank to be displayed properly and for sorting to be available.
Many have said their piece about the absurdity of the grind, but even if you want to engage with the grind, there are pointless hurdles and jank in the process to keep track of things.
