I am making this post at the request of many people who took part in this. I am sorry if the flare is incorrect or if the screenshots break the clarity rule, but I don't know a better way to put them. And English isn't my first language, I am sorry for typos and such.
Alright, so, yesterday at 2 am on Twintania. Me and a two of my friends gathered so that I could show them my new dhalmel mount, but both of them found the thing so funny that they got their own ones. Then we all moved to Idyllshire to follow people around as the "dhalmel gang". Eventually a couple more people joined us on our mission to feed the aether of Eorzea to our dhalmel overlords.
Then more and more people started joining in, and I asked my friends to in synch switch to the magitek deathclaw mounts and everyone else followed. We had evolved into the deathclaw gang. And then we reached the central building in Idyllshire and then someone started spamming the maggie cannons, so we all joined in.
We naturally needed to find more recruits, so we brainstormed and concluded that the next logical location for our recruitment should be Quarrymill due to the large amount of PotD players usually gathered there.
So, our next stop was Mor Dhona. There we had our biggest gathering yet (Screenshot doesn't do it justice, I am sorry. I tried my best to document all of this).
I do not recall who it was, but someone started talking about turning this into a Garlean invasion of sorts and taking it all across Eorzea. So we did, just like old WoW players might remember the mammoth march, we walked through Eorzea.
I had the honor of being the one at the front of this line while everyone chose to set me on follow and type our messages of peace for all of Eorzea to hear. The first trip was from Mor Dhona to Ul'dah, then from Ul'dah to Gridania, and from Gridania to Limsa.
At each location we would spread our messages of peace and magitek gunfire to all the savages of the feeble city states. At many places we were greeted with fea-, I mean excitement for we were there to "save them all from themselves" as one of us worded it.
This whole "event" lasted for roughly 3-4 hours, I knew only my two friends who joined me at the beginning and we posted no announcements of this happening besides the messages of peace while this was happening.
I understand if this is common on some world servers, but this is just my personal message of love to this amazing community and all the people who joined us on this adventure. It was nice, thank you all who joined.
