Are we sure DRG isn't a limited job? Because BOY does it feel like one. Spamming single line aoe until 62, getting full aoe rotation at 72 (!), no way to preserve life of the dragon until 62 while doing aoe, no way to keep disembowel doing aoe, no way to preserve resources (eyes) if you can't do damage, meaning resetting eye number at every phase switch, buff/debuff extending never aligns properly because first it's a 3-part combo, then 4-part combo, then 5-part combo. 2min cooldown for aoe jump. let that sink in, 2 minutes.
Feels like it's put together so incoherently and with no care for leveling process.
For comparison:
MNK has his full kit at 50 and everything added later just expands abilities. Full single target rotation, full aoe rotation. Has options to keep both chakra and GL (50+)
SAM is the same, has entire basic single target and aoe rotation available at 50 and just expands, adds kenki abilites and whatnot. Keeps kenki and sen indefinitely.
NIN gets second part of aoe combo at 54 and hellfrog at 64 but it has other aoe options, doton and katon are available at 50. Entire single target kit is available at 50. Keeps ninki and suiton is on a ridiculously long timer
Sorry, venting because I enjoy the aesthetic of the job, but it's so boring and dull to play. Even at 80 it feels so incredibly tacked on.
