It looks as if this skillchain is some sort of powerful AoE type. This particular one is done as part of the CoP missions. It appears that if the enemy finishes all 4 of his WS to complete the skillchain, you're done for. =(

Could they also be the result of the Relic WS chaining together?
i.e. Something along the lines of
Blade: Ten --> Spiral Hell (Darkness) --> Namas Arrow (Light) = Cosmic Elucidation?
(Using the 2+2 = 3 (SC) --> 3 (WS) method?)

It looks as if Namas Arrow --> Namas Arrow= Light
Blade: Ten --> Namas Arrow = Darkness

we were lucky enough not to get smacked by this skillchain lol. If its going to be implemented through relic WS though then i would not like it one bit. gonna be exclusive to the really dedicated players or the extremely rich and have all the time in the world... or they could make it accessible to sam 2 hour! that would be sweet:bfg:
 
From what I understand...2 Relic WS chained together make a Lv4...but since no one can confirm this it's all rumor really.


It would be neat however if you could make 3 man SC using 250's and chain into a relic to make Lv4.

archain what video editing software did you use for your vid?

I've tried Adobe Premier Pro 1.5, and Windows Movie Maker, both are not on par to my needs in terms of quality/distribution size.

Premiere Pro, not on par??? What are you smoking?

Not to offend you... of course.... but I'd like to know why?

I have been using Premiere for the last two year. It works well with recreational video editing/creation as well as professional needs.
 
Okay well I have v1.5 which is apparently the newest one.

My FRAPS vid is 800x600 and APP changes my reso to 720, I checked all options (ie NTSC, PAL, WS, etc) and they all will change my reso, and that's unnacceptable really. I was thinking there might be downloadable setting or something but I've been unable to find them...WMM worked best honestly except for the fact that it outputs in .wmv quality that they used on Windows 3.1.

Do some googling on importing digital video into Premiere.... I have recorded in 1600x12000 with little problem importing into premiere. I export in DIVX. With the right combo it all comes together nicely.

It does take some experimentation with FRAPS video into Premiere, but it does work. 1024x768 works really well with Premiere.

Other than that, I accept your explination. :bfg:
 
Okay well my master copy is roughly 5 gigs of .avi goodness, so I import into premier and it's still 800x600 but premier wants me to crop my video basically so that it fits in 720, if you can help me to fix it so that it works and doesn't change my settings, I will go to Lower Jeuno and cyber with you in /shout. The main problem as I see it is that I can't change the output reso when I start a new project, seen here: http://img210.exs.cx/img210/6610/3336eo.jpg

EDIT: And if I go into custom, the reso setting is locked out.

1st, My prepfiles are basic AVI:

The key is in the custom settings.... You have to change DV Playback to Video For Windows, you then can change the resolution size on the project.

If you look at #4 in the top left corner, you can see the video specs of the imported video and THEN....

It will work for you, I believe.

Im exporting the video to DIVX now so you can see the end results.

Edit:About 15 min till encode complete, from a 4GB file into a 90MB file.

edit: also do you suggest copying all your custom settings or are they there for a specific reason?
 
I just have them setup so that I can just click on what I want and go....

Most everything is defaulted and I change audio settings as necessary.

Trim it to your likes as you go.
 
Okay, final question, I want to be able to upload this and have people download it...but I don't want it overly large in file size. Is mpg1 going to maintain quality when I export, or should I export as .avi and use something to convert it?

I've got dr.divx as well.

also...fading music out, im having trouble figuring that out...
 
Well, my 4GB file turned into 117MB and the 2nd part which was about 1GB turned into 28 MB, so your mileage will vary...Ill look into the audio, there are faders and whatnot...
