Lets Talk About The Savage Gear Weekly Restrictions

So the restrictions I know are in place to stop players from curb stomping their content within a week, but how about they do it like this?:

You can clear savage by job weekly restriction:

For each job role you cleared for the week they're automatically given a piece of gear if the Boss happens to drop said Gear and you can switch to another job role to clear the same boss for that week to get another piece of gear, and so for the following:

Maiming Set (7 Weeks for all gear)
Fending Set (7 Weeks for all gear) + 1 for Paladins due to shields
Scouting Set (7 Weeks for all gear)
Striking Set (7 Weeks for all gear)
Aiming Set (7 Weeks for all gear)
Casting Set (7 Weeks for all gear)
Healing Set (7 Weeks for all gear)

All accessories on the right side (5 Weeks if you're doing the first Tier Savage Raid which is usually where the accessories tend to drop).

Now the items that drop to help augment your gear will remain as they are as random coffer drops, and everyone has to roll for.

The Books can remain as they are as 1 book per weekly restriction.


Not only will this help increase activity with savage raiding for the day. but it will encourage players to try other jobs for Savage Raiding.

Also the RNG coffers is just horrible by design just to get a piece of gear, there is no reason to punish the players like that and force them a extra week if they didn't get anything.


I think 7 weeks is long enough for Savage content if you're consistent, and it shouldn't be artificially extended as it is currently.
