Wondering if this is kicking off at beginning of Week 1 in July?

Also if it is possible, when nearing a end of the month can a new cycle of runs be posted in advance for people who need to plan ahead.

So what's happening? Is there a two-week or a four-week cycle? (The poll it currently tied.) What about the non-ls invitees? Who's sponsoring what?
 
Because of the split between cycles that would be best for people and the desire some people expressed to try an honor system we are starting out with an honor system. This is to say that there will be no cycles and people will be expected to come whenever they can out of courtesy towards their LS mates. Everyone (who is lotting AF) will be able to lot any AF that they can wear and win one piece per run. There will be a seperate catergory for people coming for money.

Invitees should be asked to come to the first run. Invitees should be people who can come consistently and play thier jobs well as well as people who we can trust not to exploit the honor system. Everyone will be given the chance to bring one person that they would like to personally sponsor but that invitee is your responsiblity. I.E. If they are not using /assist macros (hopefully this won't be a problem but its just an example) the person who invited them is expected to help them out and remind them.

It seems like we had 4 people who wished to sponsor: Gunman, Lexa, Sass, and Heie. I think this is a good number considering also that Gunman will be done soon. As far as who will take which runs, I suggest that sponsors communicate which type of currency they are primarily after and which runs they would prefer to sponsor. Where there is conflict we can alternate or random.

There was a fair amount of support for the idea of "comment 2, win 1" for AF, and I don't remember any negative discussion about it. It provides a fair amount of flexibility, is common in other shells (including DX), and it helps level the playing field between those with few jobs and those with many.

In the absence of strong feelings for "lot any," I would like to recommend we switch to the more familiar and common "comment 2." If some do prefer "lot any," we can stick with that until we have time to discuss and reach a decision.
 
I prefer lot 2, but if there is a majority for lot several win 1, I don't mind. :)
 
I noticed the trophy thread is linked to somepage. I would recommend switching to wiki due to the nonstop somepage threats that they are known for.
 
Redoing the links right now. I think that Heie took the links from an old post. Apologizes to anyone who ended up at somepage.
 
I just copied and pasted them from the other trophy posts. Wiki and somepage are both blocked at my work so I couldn't fix the links.

lol somepage is fine if you protect yourself. kinda like redd's mom.

I love their equipment search, even though it's pretty outdated now.
 
The mob search on somepage is also quite superior... when I was leveling BST it was a godsend to help me find potential camps by searching for mob levels. Shame you have to be so careful with it these days.

anyone else having trouble loading ffxi wiki? Will get the links fixed as soon as possible but currently getting an error saying the site is unavaliable.
 
Can just merge the trophy posts if you want to. Different name and structure now but in my opinion they both represent Dynamis organized by and through Ultima and show what we've achieved as an LS.
 
Rather a new trophey post to show achievements of the new LS.
