Sorry guys I'm very comp illiterate. I cant seem to understand how I set up windower if anyone could walk me threw it I would be very appreciateive, in the mean time I guess I'll just try installing it with a hammer:arg: .

What you do is download the most up-to-date version: catch it at http://www.ffxi.archbell.com, you can follow the links to the download.

When you download it, all you do is click Launch.exe; this will launch FFXI for you, and it will be in windowed format. Note: this only works if you use the default FFXI installation folder (which, if you are computer illiterate, is exactly where it should be lol) If its in a different location, you'll have to specify the pol.exe location in the included data file. You shouldn't have to worry about this.

More importantly, make a shortcut to launch.exe, and change the icon to the FFXI one and rename it if you wish; therefore, you can open up regular FFXI or windowed version at a whim.
