Disclaimer: I don't know stats, I'm not going to bother with stats or any sort nitty-gritty awesomeness. All I'm doing is saying "hey, here's a cool concept SE might be able to play with!" (But we know that won't happen. (; )
Class Name Illustrator (alternative similar concept: calligrapher)
Class Type Healer (or crafter?)
Class Function The Illustrator draws images which effectively materialise as spells and execute their function, such as a DPS skill or a healing skill. It would thus be a mage class whose spells work like other mages. It would have a bamboo brush with thick bristles. The animation would be them drawing in the air. Once their drawing was completed (the amount of time it takes to cast a spell), their spell would materialise and animate to life. Some skills would enable them to move and cast simultaneously, like slashing the brush through the air would materialise a slash in the intended target (i.e. monster) as they run.
Other "Performance" We can now play music thanks to Bard's Performance, but we still can't make our own art in game. It would be cool if there was a drawing version of Performance that allowed one to set up customise paintings in their homes or some such. (It wouldn't need to be particularly advanced. Something like the pattern maker feature in Animal Crossing would work just fine.) Customised art wouldn't be sellable, just like customised music isn't sellable.
Alternative Function or if just a crafter, then it could be a class dedicated to making art.
