i'm not sure what an appropriate amount of inactive time is, but it really sucks when a name you want to use is taken by like... a level 3 gladiator or something, and you just know they'll never login again and that name is forever unusable.
i know other mmo's do this so i feel like it's time ff14 incorporates it too.
