I got to resistance rank 15 yesterday. I started working on the Relic upgrade quest before I even walked into the Bozjan Front. I am still at 5/6 of the green crystals. I've been at 5/6 of the Green Crystals for almost the entire day yesterday, a really long game session, 8 hours +, the whole day more or less.
How do I not get a single green crystal after so much gameplay?
I understand that the alternate paths are "faster", I think that's a failure of the system. I think it's good that there's an alternate path at all, unlike Eureka. I also think that the "primary" path being so slow is just a really bad experience.
I have little reason to run Skirmishes and Critical Engagements now, except to try and fish at an attempt for a Duel. Is this truly intended? That I go back to content from two expansions ago to get my current weapon because the current content gives me so little progress I may as well not do it?
It's discouraging and frustrating.
EDIT: For all intents and purposes the "main path" is the Heavensward content....The fact that the main path for a Shadowbringers relic is in Heavensward is what I find discouraging and frustrating.
