 | I started my (ps5) ffxiv free trial acc back in may, now i’m a lvl 65 paladin (I stuck with gladiator/tank since it’s the easier job imo to use/learn) and am now 64% on heavensward 2-2. This game has been nothing but wonderful and amazing to me even with the limitations set on me as a free trial player one being interacting with other players which i can and cannot do because I use my controller to type and I usually like keeping to myself in-game and don’t really socialize but if someone approaches me or says hello to me i’ll say hi and try to make convo back to the best of my controller typing abilities. At first when i was looking at vids about the game, the gameplay, button layouts, and spell/attack animations threw me off until i seen a video of how far in free trial players can go but what probably got me to get into the game was a yt short i seen of how crowns see sprouts playing the vault for the first time (i get it now) or it could of been something else i forgot but after setting my button layouts, learning gladiator/paladin, and learning how to operate the game on controller i started enjoying the game more. And the game makes you care for it’s main and supporting characters so much it’s not even funny and i’m glad it’s like that since i play games like kingdom hearts and persona it’s kinda why i prefer doing msq more than anything (nanamo is one of my favorite characters). Will i eventually upgrade to the full game one day?
