I don't know who it is to hear this, but I definitely did.
1) Don't quick synthesize to level your jobs. I was going out and gathering mass amounts of materials and just quick synthesizing everything. I absolutely hated sitting there and crafting them high quality one by one. Which leads to my next tip.
2) Learn macros for crafting high quality gear. I learned about them about a week before I started using them. They seemed intimidating. They absolutely are not. They are extremely easy, and once you learn them it changes everything lol. It's still 2 clicks per craft, but it's not nearly as bad as just sitting there mass crafting the same thing in high quality manually.
3) If you are on a preferred/preferred+ world, Don't be afraid to craft a few extra items that are required for the job quests. They sell like hotcakes on the market.
4) Gather your own materials and don't buy them. Especially if you're on a preferred world. Everything is highly inflated for early level crafting materials, and it really doesn't take a lot of materials if you do the above method. I get like four times the experience from crafting them with macros then I do with crafting with quick synthesis meaning you don't need nearly as many materials.
