 | Scholar is the only job in the game where your shield/barrier spell (Galvanize) produces a visual effect upon getting hit. I realize they just never applied a shield effect to the other shield healers / shield spells and only scholar has this feature (sage just has you get hit like normal with no visual effect / sound, same goes for the other jobs).
