In the event that a thread gets "off topic" or "too toxic," the GM's step in and lock the thread to prevent the spread of improper discourse. This is fair and reasonable obviously, no criticism there. You can go read a few of the locked threads now on pages 2 & 3 - they're still there. You'll be surprised at some of the things that are allowed to be said on the forums that don't get removed.
But the post that called out GM censorship wasn't locked. It was outright deleted along with every post within the thread - completely erasing any evidence that it ever existed to begin with. No reason given or anything. Interesting interesting.

Also on a different note, hello GM's. Nice to meet you, glad you enjoyed the discussion enough to delete it, and I'm sorry the FF14 ecosystem is in a bad place - it's not my fault either. I'm sure it's been a pain recently. I've disabled my sub renewal so I won't be on the forums much longer, you can rest easy. But it's a shame really the condition that this game has been allowed to decay to don't you think? You don't have to answer, but things have changed internally for you haven't they? People not allowed to say certain stuff, "technically that falls under" was probably said a few times. Supervisor getting the vise grips from across the pond and now you are too? Anyways, put in a good word for me in the break room.
