FRIENDS LIST

Often times I find myself bonding with other people briefly, whether over a conversation about each others glam, hanging around the main starting areas or an interesting dungeon experience that we had. What normally follows is a friend request sent from either myself or them and one of us teleports away or has to do something else or whatever. On the off chance I see the person (whether it's weeks or even months) I often wonder: "Who the heck is this person?" and just continue what I'm doing without any communication whatsoever.

Why, you may ask? I don't know. I don't really "feel" a connection of human interaction I guess? Hard to articulate. Am I supposed to be emoting to them or talk or w/e? Because what if, by chance, they don't know who I am either?? OR. Or, they don't even have me on their friend list anymore for whatever reason and I talk to them and they're like "wtf? who are you?? Please stop harassing me!!" *GASP* OH NO! WILL I BE BANNED??

Now, I could be just over thinking ALL of this, but I feel like the friends list in this game is similar to like say, Facebook or ANY social media platform for the matter. Sure, you can have a lot of friends, but are they really your friends? Can you say you truly know them like what their favorite color is or what their favorite food is? Can you say that?

Now, I'm aware it's not that deep; I'm just being a tad bit hyperbolic for the sake of getting my point across. I appreciate seeing orange people who take time out of their day to bond, but then I'm like too busy with what I'm doing to stop and interact with these people? Anyway, just a random thought that I had after and wanted to share with you all.

1. How is your approach to your friends list?
2. Do you communicate or even remember the people on your list?
3. Do you do future content with the people on your list?
4. Do you think Friends list overall are superficial?

Twired, so I hope this thread makes sense.
