Lol, wtf.....

Haha, guess I'll be the jackass guy in that, the CPA >.>;;; Although I'm not a jackass... :x

yaeko major is accounting !?
OMG /bow /kneel /praise

I hate Accounting...>.>

the producers is a great film, but FUCK the nathan lane/ferris beuler version. It's all about Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder. Those two were the absolute best interpretation of the characters, hands down.

So Yaeko, are you planning on sitting for the exam? If so for the extended hours are you going to get your masters or just an additional 30 hours of electives? If you need a job or an internship let me know. I can always pass on resumes to our national HR department.

The Producers is one of the best musicals I've seen. I've seen it with three different production casts with the last one being the best. I have never seen the original but I'd assume most of the slapstick comedy of Mel Brooks is just as good by Mostel/Wilder

>.>;;; lol. I still have about 1.5years left of my Bachelor's degree until I can actually take the CPA exam. Not quite sure if I'm doing the Masters Degree quite yet, I had talked to my mother about it (she's a CPA herself) she said it wasn't really necessary unless you just want it. I have a ton of extra hours, due to me switching my major from Culinary (which I had been in for a 1~1.5years), but if I still have to take some...sure why not get a Master's while I'm at it, rawr.

But if the offer is still open in 1.5years or so sure~! lol^^

Well you can always intern while in College, or summer intern. I personally didn't do the masters, I just went back and obtained a 3rd degree while completing my 150 requirement. But your mom is right, a masters isn't needed, just the hours. Well, I would advise to try and do a summer internship, if Public Accounting is what you want, just so that you can get a taste for it, and decide on whether or not you like it. Public Accounting has one of the highest turn over ratios, just because everyone uses it as a stepping stone into an industry position. But, if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to try and answer them for you.

Thanks^^ I'm taking three classes in the summer so I'll think about it^^

NP, does your mom work for one of the Big 4? I am in External Audit for KPMG, actually in the process of initiating a rotation to Japan for 2 years, or a full time transfer.

My mom actually worked for one of the Big 12 back in the day when it was still the Big 12 and not the Big 4 right out of college. I can't remember which one she worked for though. :( She told me once, but the name escapes me at the moment.

Yeah it seems that every couple of years 2 or more of the firms just combine. Not to mention they just keep growing to such a large scale there isn't room for another company to come into the running.
