![]() | I have recently started the game and found that while playing the game would have a sudden frame drop or frame skip every like 20 seconds, and although it's not a game breaking problem or make it unplayable, it just got very annoying for me when I was in important scenes and there would be a sudden frame drop. I tried many things such as disabling NVIDIA overlay, disabling Xbox Gamebar, checking sound drivers, disabling Vsync through Nvidia control panel, ending the task of EarTrumpet which is an application for controlling volumes of different applications, and the more obvious solutions such as putting everything to low on the game as well as redownloading the game, however the problem persisted. As a final effort, I set the framerate limit in the game to None and then using RTSS from the MSI Afterburner application, I set a custom framerate limit through this application, this surprisingly solved my issue. I believe the conclusion for this is that the game doesn't have a great framerate limiter and using RTSS solved the issue. https://preview.redd.it/sowfm2ee68i...bp&s=0df07d09054ae9d08a177233b018c9b6371f3b21 Edit: This is a video explaining how it works, I used it myself. submitted by /u/KungFo234 [link] [comments] |
